TECO electric motors - Cast Iron ALCA series - IE2
TECO motors in cast iron from size 80 to 315!
In accordance with the development of the series of aluminum motors ALAA, has been developed the construction of a complete series of Cast Iron (ALCA) motors, Efficiency IE2.
Characteristics and benefits:
◾ The 160-315 motor series are all designed with removable feet (SDF)
◾ Thermal protection PTC 150 (thermistors), with connection in the terminal box.
◾ Both the IE2 and IE3 series are the same in sizes and designs. This allows the customer to fully interchangeable the motors.
◾ All motors from size greater or equal to 180 are provided to grease fittings with simple and effective access.
◾ The bearings used are of top quality brands NSK NTN SKF and FAG.
◾ On the case there is a ground clamp accessible and movable in case of changing the position of the feet. From size 280 or higher is provided a double clamp for securing of the lands
◾ Both on the front and on the back part, the motor protection is ensured by high quality sealing rings.
◾ Cast Iron ALCA motors have a symmetrical stator that allows the positioning of the terminal box also to the fan cowl (B side),maintaining the interdistances unified.
◾ The lifting eyebolts are two, offset in order not to obstruct the transition of the cables from the back. Four different mounting positions are arranged
